Hey there! I’m Joshua Cho, a Korean-American pianist and composer based in Los Angeles.
I started out as a classical pianist, but over time, I felt the need to bring the music in my head to life. That's when I taught myself how to compose. For me, creating music for film is like painting—like adding colors onto a blank drawing. It’s about the feelings, the vibe, and the rhythm that brings the image to life.
Since the age of 17, I’ve collaborated with a variety of projects and artists, including arranging for rapper August08 of 88Rising, scoring the short film Numero (selected for the New York Latino Film Festival), and composing for brands such as Red Bull, Spitfire Audio, UFC, Coca-Cola, and Vita Coco.
As a composer, I believe music is a powerful source of inspiration that can convey deep emotions. Even in its simplest form, it truly complements and enhances the story of a film. Let's connect and see how we can collaborate together to bring your project to life! :)
